Meet Alan

Alan Bradstock has dedicated his life to service, first to his country, then to his community, and now as a candidate for Congress. A native of Donora and a graduate of Ringgold High School in Washington County, Alan went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington & Jefferson College, where he graduated cum laude, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and co-won the PICPA award as the top graduating accounting major. A four-year starter on the basketball team, Alan learned early the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.

Following graduation, Alan was commissioned as a U.S. Army aviation officer. He completed the Aviation Officer Basic Course and rotary-wing flight training before being stationed in Germany during the historic fall of the Berlin Wall. During his service, he earned a Master’s degree in International Relations from Troy State University’s overseas program. Alan also deployed to the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm, further cementing his lifelong commitment to defending American values.

After his military career, Alan answered another call to service as a Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. At Quantico, he completed New Agent Training before beginning assignments in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he investigated drug trafficking, public corruption, kidnappings, and violent crime. Rising through the Bureau, Alan became a supervisor in the Counterterrorism Division, where he coordinated terrorism financing operations at CIA Headquarters and later oversaw joint terrorism and drug investigations at the DEA’s Special Operations Division.

In Louisville, Kentucky, he led the Division’s effort to integrate intelligence with law enforcement operations, strengthening both public safety and national security. Alan also served abroad as Deputy Legal Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa, working closely with Canadian law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Beyond his public service, Alan built a successful private-sector career. He worked as an auditor for KPMG, an independent financial adviser, and supported the U.S. Intelligence Community as a contractor specializing in budget, strategy, and program management. His diverse career has given him a rare combination of financial expertise, law enforcement leadership, and international experience, skills he now brings to the campaign trail.

Alan is proud to call Fayette County home, where he lives with his wife. He is the father of two children, including his youngest son, who is transgender and has thrived since beginning his transition in high school. Alan’s deep commitment to family, fairness, and opportunity informs his values and drives his determination to fight for every Pennsylvanian in Congress.

Economy

Priorities for Southwestern Pennsylvania

Alan Bradstock isn't going to Washington to make noise. He's going to make a difference. Here is his pledge to the 14th District.

Economic Security

We must create an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected. I call for policies that raise wages, strengthen workers’ rights, and expand opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Universal Healthcare

America spends more on health care than any other nation, yet we get worse results. It’s time to guarantee health care as a right, not a privilege. A universal system would cover every American and lower out-of-pocket costs.

Remove Money From Politics

We must restore government to the hands of the people. I call for stronger campaign finance laws, greater transparency in political donations, and limits on the power of dark money groups to ensure elected officials answer to voters.

Restore Constitutional Norms

Donald Trump’s second term has made it clear: when leaders trample constitutional norms, our democracy itself is at risk. We must fight to restore the guardrails that protect our freedoms and prevent unchecked authority.

Real Government Efficiency

I am committed to ensuring that Washington works for the people, not against them. I will work to streamline operations, cut red tape, and use modern technology to make government more transparent, accountable, and cost-effective.

Restore Character & Competence

We need leaders who embody honesty, integrity, and accountability. I pledge to raise the standard of conduct in Washington by insisting that elected officials act with transparency and put the nation’s interests before personal gain.

Reduce Partisan Extremism

We must return to cooperation and civility. I reject the toxic politics of division and instead will focus on building coalitions, listening to diverse perspectives, and finding practical solutions that benefit the majority of Americans.

Smart, Future-Focused Policies

I recognize both the opportunities and risks that emerging technologies and disinformation pose. We need proactive policies that encourage innovation while setting responsible guardrails for AI and confronting disinformation.
